Entry/Admission Requirements

Following are the admission requirments:

•  Application for admission should be made only if they have a positive zeal to learn, imbibe and practice the Deen.

•  To be eligible for admission candidates should ensure that they have a reasonably sound background both in Islamic learning and practice. Admission to the Madrasah is at the sole discretion of the Principal.

•  The Principal shall not be obliged to provide any reason for refusal of admission.

•  Prior to acceptance, all applicants are to fill in the application form with special focus on prior learning and existent skills.

•  In order to be granted admission, every student/taleba and her parent/guardian must sign the admission form and the code of conduct, accepting all the rules of the Madrasah.

•  Applicants are also expected to present proof of prior qualifications - such as a school or Madrasah report. Telephone/Mobile numbers and other such contact information of schools, universities or Islamic institutions previously attended should also be provided to facilitate claim verification and allow examiners to ascertain prior history.

•  For identity proof applicant must provide Aadhar card, ration card and 2 photos of applicant and parent/guardian and Election card of parent/guardian.

•  Character references by religious leaders and others must also be accompanied by the necessary contact information.

•  Students from other institutes will have to submit a certificate of good conduct from the previous institute.

•  For entry into the Madrasah, applicants are expected to possess a basic proficiency in the recital of the Quran.

•  Applicants who are unable to recite are admitted in Ibtedaai class of Madrasah

No student/taleba will be admitted without an examination and a pass mark of 55%

•  In the event that applicants wish to enter any year other than the 1st year, they will be subjected to testing on the work done in lower years. Ideally, applicants should then be familiar with the subjects and curriculum of lower years as testing will be on these subjects in accordance with our own curriculum. Exceptions may be made in the event that applicants are able to prove mastery of subjects done in lower years via testing.

•  Admission will only be accepted up to the first week after commencement of the term.

•  Madrasah session/year starts from 5th June, every year.

•  There will be no holidays in Ramadan (Only 5 holidays from 28th of Ramadhan to 3rd of Shawwal) similarly no holidays for Eidul Adhaa. 10 days holiday will be given at the time of Diwali.

The fees are as follow:

ADMISSION FEE
This is for students enrolling for the first time at the Madrasah, whether for the first year class or any other.
•  The admission fee is Rs. 500/-
ACCOMODATION & FOOD CHARGES
•  The charges for food and accomodation is Rs. 1000/- per month.
This is a standard fee for all students. It can be paid as a full payment or in instalments. However, all fees should be paid up within the first two months of the academic year.
•  The total amount is Rs. 10000/- per year.
•  Stationery, uniform and exam fees are excluded as it differs with each class.
•  Fee is applicable to every student except the ones deserving zakah, for that they must provide a letter/certificate from a responsible, religious person of their locality. In exceptional cases a complete fee waiver may be granted to poor and needy students.

•  Meals are provided three times a day as per the usual breakfast, lunch and supper system.
•  Accommodation is usually shared by other students and can amount to up to 9 students per room in large rooms.
•  Students are advised to bring along their own bedding if they have special hygienic needs or just feel more comfortable in their own bedding.
•  All other expenses are to be borne by the applicant and the institute assumes no responsibility whatsoever for its provision. This can include as diverse financial needs as toiletry, travelling expenses, textbooks and stationery. Emergency needs will however be provided as per the discretion of the institute for which it will have to be reimbursed.

GUIDELINE OF REQUIREMENTS
A student should bring with her:
»   Bedding - Blanket, pillow, two pillow cases, 2 bed sheets, 2 bed spreads.
»   Uniforms must be purchased from the Madrasah.
»   Sleepwear - Only long night dresses will be allowed.
»   Students must wear the Niqaab at all times when leaving the Madrasah premises.
»   Warm vests for winter.
»   Sandals - a pair for Wudhu.
»   Jerseys with no fancy writing, scarves, shawl and gloves.
»   Miswaaks, surma and tasbeeh.
»   Mirror (small), soap, toiletries and a nail clipper.
»   Towels, two bath and two hand towels.
»   Washing powder.
»   Kindly mark your belongings clearly with your name.
